The festival will showcase a broad lineup of current film productions depicting todayʼs Jewish culture and heritage. The Budapest Jewish Film Festival is the largest event of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe.
This year’s program features a recent selection of films from France, the United States, Spain, Germany, Canada, Uruguay, Slovakia, Hungary and Israel.
The festival will take place in the "vibrant" center of the capital, the announcement says, giving visitors an opportunity to explore the city’s Jewish heritage, as well as related cultural events and the best of local gastronomy.
