Social

Alongside the official FINA mobile application, another app with the name of Budapest 2017 has been launched, chiefly aimed at providing leisure-related information in connection with the 17th FINA World Championships in Budapest, according to a press statement sent to the Budapest Business Journal.

The new application offers users a concise and easy-to-search schedule, and also lists free-time activities connected to the championships, aiding those who arrive in the capital from the countryside or abroad, the press statement explains.

With the help of the app, users can create their own calendar, saving all the events of most interest to them in order to follow the things efficiently. The creators of the app hope that this feature will help spectators coordinate sports events and free-time activities, syncing them for a better experience.

The application also offers help in finding events and venues of the championships, as well as showing all the news related to the sports events series.
