press release

British Airways has raised the number of daily flights between Budapest and London Heathrow from three to four during its summer schedule next year, from March-October 2016, according to an announcement issued today.

The revised schedule will result in 60,000 more seats becoming available between Budapest and London Heathrow, the announcement says. The additional flight is scheduled to take off at 12:45 p.m. in London and arrive in Budapest at 4:15 p.m., while taking off at 5:10 p.m. from Budapest with an arrival time of 6:50 p.m., the announcement added.

“We were very happy about the announcement of British Airways as it shows that there is potential in the Budapest market, if such a significant airline, which has been Budapest Airport’s partner for a long time, continues to develop,” Balázs Bogáts, Head of Airline Development at Budapest Airport, said.

Producing journalism that is worthy of the name is a costly business. For 27 years, the publishers, editors and reporters of the Budapest Business Journal have striven to bring you business news that works, information that you can trust, that is factual, accurate and presented without fear or favor.

We would like to offer that same opportunity to our readers. We would like to invite you to help us deliver the quality business journalism you require. Hit our Support the BBJ button and you can choose the how much and how often you send us your contributions.
