Anti-government blockade closes Lánchíd

Anti-government demonstrators closed the Lánchíd (Chain Bridge) in the heart of Budapest with 50 cars this evening, Hungarian online daily index.hu reported.
"We are planning to block the bridge until midnight or until we get arrested," organizer Zoltán Büki told Index.
Büki had been planning to set up a blockade all around Hungary, and that event was originally scheduled for the beginning of March. But as his request for a permit for the protest was rejected by the Hungarian police many times, he abandoned the plan for a country-wide blockade and started organizing impromptu mini blockades.
