’We are Europe’ political debate at Kossuth Klub
The “We are Europe” initiative, which aims to support the development and work of civil society organizations across Europe, is organizing a public political event entitled “We are Europe Citizens’ Agora”, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.
The event features public political debate between members of the European Parliament, local politicians and former MEPs and the civil society from Hungary and other Central European countries.
Its program includes debate on diverging views of the EU as well as democracy and the rule of law, and media freedom in today’s Europe. The two-day event takes place on February 22-23, at Kossuth Klub (Múzeum utca 7, 1088 Budapest), the press release said.
Registration is available until Thursday, January 17 on the eventʼs official site. Participation is free for Budapest-based individuals.
