Skylight maker Velux Magyarorszag is making investments totalling HUF 5bn in 2011 and 2012, managing director Zoltan Vincze said in Wednesday’s issue of business daily Vilaggazdasag.
Velux Magyarorszag’s output edged up 4% in 2010, Mr Vincze said.
The company had revenue of HUF 32bn in 2010, down from more than HUF 34bn in the year before the crisis, but up HUF 2bn from 2009. It expects to close 2011 with after-tax profit of about HUF 1.8bn too.
Velux Magyarorszag’s Danish parent company has invested more than HUF 25bn at its Hungarian unit over the past 25 years.
