MVM Net fined HUF 12 mln

Hungaryʼs National Media and Telecommunications Authority (NMHH) fined MVM Net, a unit of the state-owned Hungarian Electricity Works (MVM), HUF 12 mln on charges of failing to build up its 450MHz network by the stipulated deadline, the authority reported today.
The authority said that MVM Net promised in a contract for a block of the 450MHz band signed in April 2014 to make data transmission available in nine cities and along the countryʼs main roads by the beginning of this year.
