Messer Hungarogáz H1 revenue climbs 12%

Revenue of the Hungarian unit of German industrial gas maker Messer, rose 12% to HUF 6.33 billion in the first half from the same period a year earlier as demand grew, Messer Hungarogáz said.

The unit expects full-year revenue to climb 7% over last year's HUF 11.6 billion.

Messer Hungarogáz had operating profit of HUF 2 billion and pre-tax profit of HUF 1.8 billion in 2010.

Last year, the company spent more than HUF 780 million on strategic investments.
