Hungary state lottery company revenue climbs to HUF 213 bln in 2012

Revenue of Szerencsejáték, Hungary's state-owned lottery company, climbed 18% to HUF 213 billion in 2012, business daily Napi Gazdaság said on Wednesday. The company paid a HUF 61 billion dividend to the state last year, almost 16% more than in 2011. Payouts rose about 20% to HUF 113 billion. Szerencsejatek is expected to launch online sports betting this year, after a delay caused by a supplier.
