Hungarian lenders had a combined pre-tax loss of HUF 105.5 billion in 2012, albeit 29.2% smaller than the loss in 2011, data published by financial market watchdog PSzÁF on Friday show. The sector paid HUF 82.7 billion on the bank levy last year, up from HUF 25.3 billion in 2011.
