The ninth edition of the Francophone Film Days, which runs in Budapest until March 8, will offer six movies (of a total of 15) with both English and Hungarian subtitles, the organizers told the Budapest Business Journal.

Screenings, starting today at 8 p.m. in the Toldi Cinema, include “Claire Darling” featuring Catherine Deneuve, “Yao” with Omar Sy, “Diary of My Mind,” “The Wind Turns,” “Alone at My Wedding,” and “Licu.”

Synopses for the movies, alongside the full program, are available at the French Institute website. In addition, concerts, lectures, public readings and other programs await audiences interested in the colorful francophone culture, the institute says.
