Fonyton projects rising revenue as business partners exit crisis
Hungarian electronics and optical sensor maker Fonyton expects revenue this year to climb 25-30% over last year's HUF 1.09 billion as partners in the automotive industry recover from the crisis, managing director Sándor Lukács told MTI.
Because of higher taxes, Fonyton expects profit to rise at most a few percent over last year's HUF 64 million, Lukács said.
Fonyton is undertaking a HUF 300 million expansion of its warehouse this year. The company won a HUF 100 million European Union grant for the project.
Fonyton employs 280 people at present.
