Hungary’s National Development Agency (NFÜ) said it suspended on Tuesday four tenders for European Union funding for energy investments because of overwhelming demand. NFÜ said applications for more than four times the available HUF 50.5 billion in funding were received in the first several hours after the tenders were launched. The tenders are for HUF 34 billion in funding for energy efficiency investments and HUF 16.5.5 billion for renewable energy projects.
