Diákhitel Központ total assets up 2% n H1

Hungarian student loan provider Diákhitel Központ finished the first half with total assets of HUF 242.1 billion, up 2% from the end of 2010, the lender's report for the period published late Tuesday shows.

Diákhitel’s net assets were practically unchanged at HUF 2.29 billion.

Diákhitel broke even in the first half, booking profit from financial activities of HUF 3.07 billion against an operating loss of HUF 3.07 billion.

Material costs came to HUF 682 million, payroll costs reached HUF 1.04 billion and "other costs" were HUF 1.59 billion.
