ÁNY Security Printing profit up 14.6% in Q1

Hungarian printing company ÁNY Security Press, formerly Állami Nyomda, had net profit of HUF 225.97 million in Q1 including minority interests, up 14.6% on a year ago as domestic revenue, growing from expanding sales of security products, more than made up for still shrinking exports. Deducting minority interests, net result grew 25.6% to HUF 191.6 million. Net sales revenue of HUF 4.39 billion was up 7.94%, the company announced in its consolidated, unaudited IFRS report late Wednesday. Export revenue was HUF 1.19 billion, down 5.62%. Sales of secure-document products rose 8.0% to HUF 1.49 billion. EBITDA was HUF 447 million, up 4.68%. Net assets of HUF 9.59 billion on March 31 were up 1.0% from a year earlier.
