Rába, Claas sign €2 mln contract

Hungarian vehicle manufacturer Rába and French farm machinery company Claas signed a five-year contract valued at €2 mln, according to an announcement issued today.
Under the agreement, Claasʼs French unit will be supplied with a transfer case for cotton pickers, by the Hungarian company it jointly develops with Claas.
As a result of the extended cooperation – the two have been business partners for 21 years – Rába expects to expand its market presence and its product portfolio, the announcement said.
The agreement signed today will also give way to new opportunities for product development, Rába said.
