Matolcsy talks growth with Austrian counterpart
National Bank of Hungary (MNB) governor György Matolcsy and National Bank of Austria President Ewald Nowotny discussed ways in which the central banks could support economic growth using central-bank tools at a meeting in Vienna on Tuesday, the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) said. Supporting growth composed one of the primary subjects at the bilateral talks, which also touched on ways to lessen the effects of the Cyprus crisis on Europe and on lessons from the crisis, the bank said.
