LEAN & Green seminar scheduled for September 9

Conferences

Hammel & Hochreiter International Consulting Kft., the Netherlands-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and their cooperating partners the Danish-Hungarian Business Club, and the British Chamber of Commerce are jointly organizing a “Leadership Seminar” on September 9, on the theme of “LEAN & Green”, an announcement revealed this weekend.

As long as a company’s operations have interconnected strategies, they can become both LEAN and Green in waste reduction, the announcement notes.

A survey among Norwegian SMEs showed that LEAN companies tend to be greener than their non-LEAN counterparts, so implementing LEAN can be a good start to going Green, while going Green can help kick-start a LEAN program because it has the ability of engaging people on a totally different level, the announcement says.

The organizers hope the seminar will show, through a hands-on approach, how this theory works in practice.

The participation fee for members (Dutcham, H/H, Danish-Hungarian Business Club) is HUF 4,500 + VAT (gross  HUF 5,715), while the fee for non-members is HUF 6,500 + VAT (gross  HUF 8,255).

Registrations and cancellations will be accepted until 12.00 P.M. on September 5, 2015 by sending an e-mail to info@dutcham.hu. To register, click on this link
