Hungary, Indonesia in €50 million tied-aid agreement

Hungary signed a €50 million tied-aid agreement for the delivery of mobile water purifiers to Indonesia, the National Economy Ministry said.
The agreement was signed by National Economy Minister Mihály Varga and Indonesian Minister of Public Works Djoko Kirmanto. The two men met at the World Water Summit, which Budapest is hosting through Friday.
Kirmanto and Rural Development Minister Sándor Fazekas in turn signed memoranda of understanding on water and sanitation development programs in both nations.
“We will work together to reduce the chemical substances and energy we use in every water and sanitation project,” Kirmanto said.
