The Hungarian Banking Association (MBSZ) and its Chinese counterpart CBA have concluded a cooperation agreement to boost ties between their member banks and help them efficiently implement bilateral investment projects, MBSZ told Hungarian news agency MTI over the weekend.
The agreement was signed on Hainan Island during the recent Boao Forum for Asia, a major economic and financial conference where MBSZ was the only participant invited from the European Union, the Hungarian association said.
The forum paved the way for establishing the Asian Financial Cooperation Association (AFCA), a prospective partner for MBSZ in strengthening inter-bank links and exchanging financial information and research results, according to MBSZ.
