Eight Hungarians make New Europe 100 innovators list
Eight Hungarians have been included on a list of 100 leaders of innovation in the region, Google, which helped launch the New Europe 100 list, announced yesterday.
Hungarians on the list include Márton Anka, the founder of LogMeIn; Péter Árvai and Péter Halacsy, the co-founders of presentation software company Prezi; Design Terminal chief Gergely Böszörményi Nagy; Gyula Fehér, a founder of Ustream; K-Monitor CEO Sándor Léderer; Budapest Bridge chief Veronika Pistyur; and medical researcher Bertalan Mesko. The list, compiled by Res Publica with the cooperation of Google, the Visegrad Fund and the Financial Times, is part of campaign that aims to promote innovation in Central and Eastern Europe.
