Liszt Ferenc International closes one runway because of snow
Liszt Ferenc International airport has shut down one of its two runways because of heavy snowfall, the communications director for airport operator Budapest Airport told MTI early Friday.
Mihály Hardy said the captain of a Brussels Airlines flight bound for Budapest had diverted the aircraft to Graz because of weather conditions in Budapest.
Liszt Ferenc International's other runway is operating, he added.
