KÉSZ wins HUF 1 bln order for Budapest P&R facility
Construction company KÉSZ Építő és Szerelő has won an order worth approximately net HUF 1 billion to build a P&R facility at the end of Budapestʼs number 4 Metro line at Kelenföld, the Budapest local council, the Budapest transport center BKK and the project directorate of BKV DBR Metro said in a joint statement yesterday.
The facility will be built on the old, unused railway lines of Hungarian state railway MÁV, and is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2016.
The P&R facility is the last of four such facilities built to serve the passengers of the metro line. The other three were completed in September, November and December and have a capacity for 950 cars. The new facility will span nearly 1,500 sqm.
