Celebi bids for Budapest baggage handling contract

Celebi Hava Servisleri AS, a Turkish company which offers ground services at airports, bid in an auction for a contract to run baggage handling at Budapest Airport. Celebi entered the auction for Budapest Airport Handling Rt yesterday, the Turkish company said in a filing with the Istanbul Stock Exchange, without giving details. Several companies were invited to bid for the contract, Hungary's online news portal Portfolio.hu reported in May. Celebi, based in Istanbul, was outbid last week in an auction to build and operate a new international terminal at Bodrum Airport in western Turkey. (Bloomberg)
