Budapest Airport, operator of the capital’s Ferenc Liszt International Airport, has been awarded the MagyarBrands accolade, distributed for the seventh time this year in acknowledgement of the best Hungarian companies, according to a press statement sent to the Budapest Business Journal today.

Budapest Airport was named the best in the “Excellent Business Brand” category, beating out big Hungarian companies such as Gedeon Richter, Graphisoft and Zwack.

“I am delighted with all my colleagues at Budapest Airport to receive the MagyarBrands Award – this is a recognition of the efforts of many people working at the airport,” said Jost Lammers, CEO of Budapest Airport. “This award gives us further encouragement that we are following the right path and offering the best travel experience to our passengers in Budapest,” he added.
