Passenger numbers at Budapest’s Liszt Ferenc International Airport reached 950,396 in July, climbing 10% over the same month a year earlier to reach an all-time monthly record, airport operator Budapest Airport said on Friday.

Passenger numbers in January-July were up 7.3% from the same period a year earlier.

Load factor on departing flights from the airport stands at almost 80%.

The number of takeoffs and landings at the airport rose 5.9% in July from the same month a year earlier.

London remained the airport’s most popular destination. Passenger numbers on flights bound for London account for more than 10% of the total at the airport. London’s popularity as a destination was followed by Paris’, Frankfurt’s and Amsterdam’s.
