The board of the State Privatization and Holding (ÁPV) Rt will decide on the final draft of the privatization contract for Budapest Airport Rt at a meeting on Thursday, which would mean the final contract could be signed within a week, government spokesman András Batiz announced on Wednesday. ÁPV asked the government, in light of the size of the deal, to review the results of the sale thus far, Batiz added.
UK airport operator BAA International was declared the winner of the bid for Budapest Airport, the operator of the capital's Ferihegy International Airport, on December 8, with an offer of Ft 464.5 billion.
