Earthquake of magnitude M4.5 hits Budapest and North Hungary
An earthquake of magnitude M4.5 hit Hungary at 00:29 local time on Tuesday, April 23. The epi-center of the earthquake was around 100km east of Budapest at Erdőtelek village, however the quake was felt in downtown Budapest as well as in Eger city.
According to Facebook reports the earthquake has scared numerous people, although no injuries or damages were reported. Further details of the Budapest earthquake can be seen at the website of the European-Mediterranian Seismological Center.
