Tax office greenlights EuroJackpot for Hungary
Hungary's National Tax and Customs Authority (NAV) authorized state lottery company Szerencsejáték Zrt. to participate in the EuroJackpot international lottery, Hungarian business daily Világgazdaság reported today.
As of October 4, Hungary will be allowed to enter the game, which is more costly but offers a larger jackpot than any of Szerencsjáték Zrt.’s own games. That means that Hungarians will be able to buy EuroJackpot tickets at regular lottery outlets around the country.
With the Czech Republic and Slovakia also joining EuroJackpot, the total number of participating countries reaches 17.
