Szijjártó: Conditions for Hungary joining AIIB to be presented at accession talks

The exact financial conditions for Hungaryʼs membership in the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) will be discussed during accession talks, Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said in a statement on Saturday, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.
Membership would not only enable Hungary to get involved in decision-making in the potentially influential international financial organization, and make it easier for Hungarian firms to take part in AIIB-funded projects, but it is also expected to boost the countryʼs economic and financial relations, and consolidate Hungarian companiesʼ presence in Asian markets, the minister said.
