Several demonstrations to be held in October

History

According to the decision made by the National Federation of Hungarian Peasants Associations and Co – operatives, the Hungarian farmers are to hold a warning demonstration on Friday as protest against the Gyurcsány package. The Trade Union Association of Military and Police Employees (FRDÉSZ) has already asked for permission from the police to hold a demonstration in front of the Parliament on October 14. The National Union of Students is to demonstrate against the introduction of the tuition fee on October 19, while on October 13 the Teachers’ Democratic Union is to hold its demonstration announced already in September.
