PM: Draft 2015 budget to be revealed today

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s 2015 draft budget, which he will present to Parliament for approval today, contains figures aimed at reducing the state budget deficit to below 3% of GDP, according to Reuters.

Streamlining the public sector and boosting job creation are the focus of the new budget according to Orbán. He also stated that public education reforms were of primary importance. A restructuring of the public healthcare system is also on the cards, according to statements from Orbán’s government in the past few weeks.
