Lázár: PM needs to help with by-elections
According to Hungary’s Cabinet Chief János Lázár, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán needs to be involved in the April 12 by-election in Tapolca, to support the local Fidesz candidate and help the politician gain a victory, Hungarian online daily origo.hu reported.
The by-election is being held after Jenő Lasztovicza, Fidesz MP who won in the area in 2014, passed away. Lázár, speaking at a press conference, said that Orbán’s involvement is important for retaining the “trust of voters”.
