László Balázs appointed new CEO of HUPX

László Balázs has been appointed to serve as the CEO of HUPX, the company that operates the Hungarian power exchange, beginning in March, Hungarian power transmission-system operator Mavir told MTI on Tuesday. Balázs will succeed Zoltán Medveczki, who has been CEO of HUPX since the company was established in 2010. Balázs served as the president-CEO of Volksbank Magyarország for more than ten years, Mavir noted.
