Industrialists, employers call for more fiscal measures

The National Association of Employers and Industrialists (MGyOSz) called on the government on Tuesday to swiftly complete the fiscal side of its economic adjustment package in the interest of financial and social stability.
The government's recent tax hikes will only result in temporary improvement if promised measures designed to restructure the spending side of public finances are not soon properly outlined and enacted, MGyOSz said in a statement. The reforms of public services and administration should aim to stem losses and increase the transparency of public and European Union funds, it added.
