History

The Hungarian National Trading House (MNKH), established by the state to seek out new business opportunities for Hungarian companies active in foreign markets, opened an office in Tel Aviv yesterday, according to state news agency MTI.

This is the 28th trading house opened with the assistance of MNKH and it is expected to facilitate Hungarian companiesʼ entry into farming, biotechnology, high-tech, water management, ICT and engineering markets in Israel, according to MNKH deputy-CEO Gabor Kun.

Office head Győző Gábor said the trading house is designed to function as a "matchmaker" between Hungarian and Israeli partners.
