Hungarians watch almost 5 hours of TV a day
Hungarians watched on average four hours and 46 minutes of television a day last year, data compiled by market research company Nielsen show. Nielsen's gauge of viewing habits showed the share of viewership enjoyed by public broadcasters rose to 14.2% last year from 12.1% in 2011. Hungarians spent less time watching Hungary's two main commercial TV broadcasters, but these channels still accounted for about one-third of total viewing time.
