Governator sends 1956 message to Hungarians
Fifty years after the brave and spirited Hungarian revolution of 1956, the dream of the country' freedom fighters has come true and Hungary has found its deserved place in the community of free states, wrote California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in a letter to Hungary's Honorary Consul in San Francisco, Eva Voisin, ahead of the anniversary of 1956. Schwarzenegger said Hungary, as a member of NATO and the European Union, plays an important role in the international arena. He extended his best wishes to Hungarians and American-Hungarian communities. (MTI)
