Govʼt drafts amendment to transpose EU public procurement directives into national law
The Hungarian government has published a draft amendment that would transpose new European Union directives on public procurement into national law, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.
The amendments will allow the "strategic use" of public procurements, such as making the employment of disadvantaged workers a condition for participation, according to an impact study attached to the draft.
The government is accepting feedback on the draft until April 30.
