Frittman winery named ʼcellars of the yearʼ

Hungaryʼs Frittmann family of vintners were named the 2015 "Cellars of the Year" at a ceremony in Soltvadkert, southern Hungary, yesterday, according to state news agency MTI.
The title, established by winegrowers council HNT, the Hungarian Wine Academy and the Hungarian Association of Grape and Wine Producers, is an acknowledgment of the work of big winemakers who set industry benchmarks.
The Frittmann family grows on 50 hectares in the Kunság region of southern Hungary. Frittmann Brothers, which runs the vineyards, had after-tax profit of HUF 107 mln on revenue of HUF 494 mln last year, according to public records.
