Fidesz-KDNP MPs want to centralize healthcare system

All in- and out-patient services in Hungary will be the task of the state in the future under a unanimous decision by the parliamentary groups of governing Fidesz-KDNP, Fidesz parliamentary group leader János Lázár said during a meeting of the groups on Friday.
The groups want hospitals and clinics to come under the direction of a central state body, not of government offices, Lázár said.
Hungary's healthcare sector needs "concentrated, well disciplined direction, free of special interests", he added.
