Farmers and trade unions to demonstrate soon

History

The Association of Hungarian Farmers and Farming Cooperatives (MAGOSZ) plans to hold a demonstration against the government between November 2-20.

Farmers want to confirm their claims by presenting 1,000 tractors on Kossuth tér and the lower quays of the Danube, an organizer said. MAGOSZ is still looking for police approval and they are not likely to get permission for 1,000 vehicles, as this would disturb city traffic. Liga Trade Union and Workers Councils also plan to protest near Chain Bridge this weekend. (Magyar Hírlap)
