Vodafone eliminates EU roaming charges

Vodafone Hungary has as of April 1 eliminated roaming charges for all business and private mobile customers, the company announced at a press conference last Friday, according to reports.
Fees for Vodafone customers using their phones within the EU will be the same as those applied when making calls within Hungary, according to the companyĘźs website.
Vodafoneâs CEO Diego Massidda reportedly said the move was logical given the many Hungarians living abroad or Hungarians that spend a great deal of time outside of Hungary or have family there.
The Red packages offer unlimited calling and texting while the Go EU basic package provides 100 minutes or text messages for a monthly fee substantially lower than the Red packages.
