Tesco to launch mobile services from March

Supermarket chain Tesco is teaming up with Vodafone Magyarország to launch mobile telecommunications services in Hungary from March, the partners announced on Tuesday.
Tesco and Vodafone have established a 50-50 joint venture that will offer the services as a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO).
SIM cards for the services can be purchased at all Tesco stores in Hungary, while handsets will be available at Tesco hypermarkets.
Gerry Gray, Tesco's chief executive in Hungary, said the company already offers Tesco Mobile services in the UK, Ireland and Slovakia.
Tesco Mobile will launch services on March 1. It will offer just pre-paid SIM cards at the start.
