State tender for decontamination project

Hungary's state asset manager ÁPV Zrt is calling offers for the decontamination of an old soviet airfield in the town of Kunmadarasi.

The project involves the processing and cleaning of 260,000 cubic meters of soil and 83,000 cubic meters of underground water from hydro-carbon pollutants on an area of 84 hectares. ÁPV estimated the total value of the contract at Ft 2.7 billion ($14.5 million, €10.7 million), and the project to require almost 5 years. Candidates submitting proof of at least 1 successful environmental decontamination project within the past 2 years with a total net value of Ft 200 million.
