Parliament votes to allow fostered workers seasonal jobs
The Hungarian Parliament voted today to allow fostered workers the chance to participate in "simplified employment", such as seasonal farm work, outside of the public work program, with 117 voting in favor and 64 voting against.
National farm chamber head Balázs Györffy said earlier that pay for seasonal work in the fields was higher than for fostered work, but he added that there was no work in bad weather, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.
