A port suited to accommodate 60-70 sport boats is to be built on the river Danube in Párkány, according to Slovakian business daily Hospodárské Noviny.

The $1 million (€0.759 million) investment will be implemented by Agimpex Kft, a company owned by three Hungarian entrepreneurs, the paper reports. The project will be completed by the end of 2007, catering for the increasing demand for ports and services, as fans of water sports in both Slovakia and Hungary grow in number. (Napi Gazdaság)
