Huawei awards innovation scholarships to Hungarian students

Chinese telecommunications equipment maker Huawei awarded 30 Hungarian university students with its 2011 and 2012 Innovative Leaders of Tomorrow scholarships on Tuesday.

Gavin Dai, managing director of Huawei's Hungarian unit, Huawei Technologies Hungary, and Human Resources Ministry state secretary for education Rozsa Hoffmann presented the $2,000 scholarships.
The 2011 winners also got a 10-day trip to China, where they will visit Huawei's R+D centre. Huawei is awarding the scholarships in 2011-2015.
