Grayling receives PR Consultancy of the Year award for Eastern Europe

Global communications firm Grayling received the Eastern Europe PR Consultancy of the Year 2016 award at the EMEA SABRE Awards Gala held in Berlin yesterday evening, according to a press release issued by the company.
The awards jury highlighted the consultancy’s contribution to the development of the PR market in Central & Eastern Europe (CEE), the strength of the network in the region and the fact that Grayling has continued to thrive in CEE while some competitors have been forced to scale back, according to the press release.
“This award is more than a reflection of the last 12 months. It’s the result of more than 20 years of hard work to build and sustain a network in Central & Eastern Europe which can match the standards set by the very best consultancies in Western Europe and the U.S. We are still best known for multi-country work in the region, and it’s true that we are working with most of our clients in more than one CEE country, but I am glad that the jury also recognized our strength in Public Affairs as that is now responsible for almost half of our revenues in CEE,” said Gergely Ábrahám, CEO of Grayling Hungary.
The EMEA SABRE awards are considered some of the most prestigious in the PR industry with more than 2,000 entries from across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, the press release noted.
