Govt to call tenders for use of 65,000 hectares of farmland

Hungary's national land fund NFA will call tenders in the autumn for the use of 65,000 hectares of farm land, Rural Development Minister Sándor Fazekas announced.
A recently completed audit of state-owned farmland in Hungary shows about 100,00 hectares -- 5% of the 2 million hectares of state-owned farmland -- was not registered, Econews reported earlier.
